At Matr Boomie, our purpose goes beyond supporting at-risk communities solely in India. We are equally committed to making a positive impact on our local community in Austin, Texas. The shared vision of our founder, Manish Gupta, and his partner Ruchi drives this passion, which is an integral part of Matr Boomie's mission.

Recently, our dedicated team united for a volunteer session at Caritas of Austin, an organization dedicated to "ending homelessness in Austin." Our day began at the Downtown Austin facility, where they serve daily lunches to approximately 150-200 individuals from Monday to Friday. We enthusiastically took part in food preparation, dividing portions for serving or packing into to-go bags.

The next part of our volunteering involved warmly welcoming and serving members of the community. It was a heartening experience to connect with individuals and provide support.

As the day drew to a close, we took responsibility for breaking down and cleaning up, ensuring the space was left in good order.

For our team, giving back to the local community is immensely fulfilling, alongside our global impact. To conclude our rewarding day, we treated ourselves to a well-deserved, satisfying lunch at a local bakery and restaurant called Easy Tiger.
